Sourcing the North. One Ingredient at a Time

First seaweed test badge

How do you get everything you need to develop a Nordic wine?

It hasn’t been easy.
I’ve placed orders with over 30 different suppliers — small webshops, niche botanical stores and herb farms. One tiny order at a time. Sometimes just to smell, taste, or test an idea.

But I can’t just think in teaspoons.

I need to ask:
– Can I get this at scale?
– What if I need 5,000 units of it?
– Is it biodegradable?
Shelf-stable?
– What’s the real cost — not just financial, but environmental?

This part is still a work in progress. Like all of it.
